- You can never dismiss the Germans, even when they're playing weak. I'm beginning to wonder if they will be playing on a pitch or in a big pond tomorrow, is ther no end to all this rain we're getting. Well that's the situation in downtown Karis, I imagines the ducks are also smiling in Helsinki. With all the injury and sickness doubts in the Finnish camp, maybe it's time for Baxter to send in some new young guns to test the German machine. However optimistic, I'd love to see Finland win, but a draw will also be a fantastic result. It's not the end of the world if they lose, but they will need to get results against the weaker teams in the group.
Blimey, I'm beginning to sound like a Finn now.
Ah well, if you can't beat them, join them!
